Starting A New Business

Are you ready to start your own business but, need some guidance on how to get started? No problem! There are many different paths that you can take to start your own business (online, local, serviced-based, etc.). So, we’ll just start with the quickest and easiest way to get you up and running with a sole-proprietor business!

3 Steps To Starting Your Own Business:

STEP 1: Pick a Niche

Choosing a great niche is pivotal for the success of a new business. Start by identifying your passions, skills, and areas of expertise. Research the market demand, competition, and target audience to ensure a viable and profitable niche. Striking a balance between your interests and market opportunities will position your business for growth, allowing you to stand out and capture the attention of your ideal customers.

STEP 2: Pick a Business Model

Once you have a niche, choose your business model! Do you want to provide a service or product to your customers? For example, if you know a lot about landscaping, you may want a business model where you provide landscaping services to your customers. If you are someone who enjoys yoga, you may want to provide online or in-person yoga classes to your customers. If you are someone who knows how to bake, you may want to provide baked products or baked recipe books to your customers. Think about it, then move on to step 3!

STEP 3: Build Your Business “Funnel”

Now that you have a niche and a business model, the last thing you need to do is put your business online! We call this business your “Funnel”. Your funnel is just an automated system (made up of a few simple webpages) that turns your leads into clients. Every funnel is different based on the business model and niche, but here is an example of a funnel you could use:

Page #1: Landing Page – This page is used to capture new leads who might be interested in your business. You simply offer something of value for free (e.g. a free report, a discount or coupon, a short ebook, short training video, etc.) in exchange for their email address. Believe it or not, getting that email address is one of the best things you can do!

Page #2: Nurture Page – After giving you their email address on the Landing Page, your lead then comes to this page. This page is where you share some extremely valuable content to your leads. Basically, you’re teaching or showing your leads something that they would be interested in. Then, after you’ve shared that value, you’ll invite them to purchase your product or service.

Page #3: Acquire Page – After nurturing your leads and convincing them that your product or service is exactly what they need, they’ll come to this page! This is the page is where you acquire the as a customer or client after they purchase your product or service.

And that’s essentially it!
